Join us for live music showcasing local artists performing on the back of a vintage truck for a free family-friendly festival.

Where and when is the event?

Rolling shows will make special appearances at two markets this year.

The first is Sunday 6 October, 9.30am–1.30pm at Caulfield Racecourse Reserve Community Market and the second is Sunday 20 October, 10am – 3pm at Rippon Lea Estate’s Trust Makers Market.

Do I need to book for this event?

Entry to the event is a gold coin entry, and bookings are not required.

What should I bring?

Items to protect you from the elements – sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, and wet weather gear (it is Melbourne, after all), including appropriate footwear as paths may be muddy and slippery.

Cash/eftpos if you would like to purchase any items from the stalls or food vendors.

How do I get there?

We encourage you to consider catching public transport or walk or cycle to the event if you can.

  1. Caulfield Racecourse – Caulfield Station is opposite the racecourse.
  2. Rippon Lea Estate – Rippon Lea Station is a 5-minute walk.

Is there parking available nearby?

  1. Caulfield Racecourse – parking for 6000 cars is accessed via the tunnel at the roundabout at the top of Glen Eira Rd
  2. Rippon Lea Estate - There is parking in the streets of Rippon Lea Estate and Reserve, as well as surrounding streets. Various stations and Bus/Tram routes are also available nearby.

Will there be food and drinks available for purchase?

Yes, a variety of food vendors will be available for your enjoyment during the markets.

Can I bring a pram?

Yes, prams are welcome.

Can I smoke at the event?

No, all Glen Eira City Council events are smoke-free.

Staying COVID-safe

We ask that you do not attend these markets if you feel unwell or are showing any COVID-like symptoms (fever, sore throat, runny nose, cough, or shortness of breath).

While at the event, remember to wash and/or sanitise your hands regularly.
