Councillors

Our City consists of nine wards, with one Councillor representing each ward. The nine Councillors are elected for four-year terms. The Victorian Electoral Commission will finalise the election results by Friday 15 November 2024.

The Council elect will take the Oath of Office at a swearing-in ceremony on Monday 18 November 2024.

Councillors provide a link between the community and Council. They set the City's strategic direction, establish and guide policies, set service delivery standards, and monitor performance.
