Bundled branch collections:

We are experiencing delays to our bundled branch collections (including the collection of Christmas trees) due to many bookings over the holiday period. If your scheduled collection has been impacted, please leave it on your nature strip and it will be collected as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any delays.

Cr Kay Rimbaldo

Moorleigh Ward — Councillor Kay Rimbaldo, was sworn in on Monday 18 November 2024.

Cr Rimbaldo is a long-time resident of Glen Eira — she’s called Bentleigh East home for over 35 years.

After stepping back from work to raise my family, she spent those years volunteering. She’s been involved in many local roles, including as Kindergarten President, School Council member, Fete Coordinator, and Secretary at Caulfield Little Athletics. For the past 28 years, she’s also been active with the East Bentleigh Soccer Club, where she served as Team Manager, Committee Member, and Treasurer for the past 14 years.

Five years ago, she started the East Bentleigh Community Pantry to help locals in need. During COVID, she also launched the Lend a Hand initiative, delivering over 2,000 home-cooked meals to families.

For the last 15 years, she’s worked as a medical receptionist/secretary, refining her skills in communication and organisation. Now, at 68, she’s pursuing her long-time dream of becoming a councillor.

With the support of her husband and three adult children, she plans to dedicate herself to representing Moorleigh Ward and the wider Glen Eira Community ensuring our community continues to thrive.

She pledges to work tirelessly for her constituents.
