Cr Luca Ragni (Deputy Mayor)

Murrumbeena Ward — Councillor Luca Ragni, was sworn in on Monday 18 November 2024.

Cr Ragni is a Murrumbeena local who has grown up, studied, and now lives and works in Glen Eira. 

He loves his tight-knit community. From his time studying at Carnegie Primary School, to playing footy for the Caulfield Bears and soccer for Glen Eira FC, he’s met and formed strong connections with many great community members. 

He’s an energised and passionate advocate who cares deeply for local issues, for families and for social justice.  

Cr Ragni is a Law and Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) student at Monash University, and has had three years of experience working for the Victorian and Federal governments. 

He is looking forward to championing positive, progressive change for Glen Eira residents. 

Cr Ragni is serving his first term on Council.
