Where and when is Jude Perl's Jazz Trio performance?

Jude Perl's Jazz Trio is being held at Caulfield Park Lake on Friday 14 February 2025. This is a live music event that will run from 7:30-9.30pm.

Do I need to book for this event?

Yes, this is a free event, and bookings are required.

What should I bring?

BYO picnic blankets, low-lying seats and your dancing shoes! Guests are also welcome to bring their own food and drinks.

This is an outdoor evening event so make sure you check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for the conditions.

Where can I sit?

You can sit anywhere you like. There will be a ‘picnic rugs only’ area located close to the front of the stage as well as an area for dancing. Low-lying chairs are preferred so that guests sitting on the ground can appreciate an unobstructed view of the stage.

Is the event accessible?

Yes, all Council events are accessible. There is a limited number of disability parking spaces available around the park precinct, wheelchair accessible paths and accessible toilets.

Who is performing?

Jude Perl is a Texas-born, Melbourne-based singer, songwriter, and comedian celebrated for her sharp wit and catchy, well-crafted songs. Jude has performed six solo comedy shows, earning four Green Room Awards, including Best Original Songs and Cabaret Artiste. Her fifth show, I Have A Face, also won Best Cabaret at the 2018 Melbourne Fringe Festival. In 2022, her live-streamed show won Best Music at Melbourne Fringe. Jude recently performed her sixth show, Participation Award, at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, where she also made her debut on the Gala stage.

Will there be food and drinks available to purchase?

No, there will not be any food for sale, we encourage participants to bring along a picnic to share with your family and friends. We ask you not to bring any glass to avoid accidents.

Are there any road closures or traffic changes?

No, there will be no road closures or traffic changes.

Where can I park?

Parking is available in surrounding streets. We encourage you to consider alternative forms of transportation and walk, cycle or catch public transport if you can. The closest tram stop to the event is Elmhurst Rd & Balaclava Rd (approx. 4-minute walk), Malvern station (approx. 11 min walk) and Caulfield station (approx. 13 min walk).

What happens if there is bad weather on the night?

As this is an outdoor event, the event may need to be cancelled in case of heavy rain or dangerous weather. Council will ascertain whether the event needs to be cancelled on the day of the event, based on weather conditions as they arise.

Is there medical assistance available if needed?

St Johns will be on-site to provide any medical assistance if you require it.

Can I bring my pet?

All pets are welcome, especially service animals; however, you must always ensure your pet is on leash or contained for the comfort and safety of other guests. Please be aware that the event will be very busy with live music, so please make sure your pet will feel relaxed and comfortable in this environment.

Can I bring a pram?

Yes, you are welcome to bring a pram. We will ask you to fold down the pram if you are sitting in the ‘picnic rugs only’ area located closest to the stage, to ensure nobody’s view is obstructed.

Can I smoke at the event?

No, all Glen Eira City Council events are smoke and vape free.
