This is a particularly large street tree for the area that provides a major contribution to the local landscape. It stands alongside a similarly sized private tree that is also eligible for inclusion in the Classified Tree Register, and in combination these two trees provide a significant amount of greenery and canopy coverage for the area that improve the local amenity and enhance the neighbourhood character.

Numerous local residents have observed this tree and the neighbouring private tree being utilised for roosting and nesting by Boobook Owls, Tawny Frogmouths, Black Cockatoos and other native birdlife.
