We have several multipurpose sporting facilities available for hire in Glen Eira. They're designed to accommodate a range of sports, including small-sided soccer, handball, futsal, basketball and netball.
Multipurpose sporting facilities
We recognise the diverse range of sporting interests within the community and to accommodate a wide variety of these interests we have been planning and developing sports facilities suitable for multi-use.
East Caulfield Reserve: Multipurpose sports courts
Our three multipurpose courts at East Caulfield Reserve are designed for a range of sports, including small-sided soccer, futsal, handball, basketball and netball or provide an all-weather surface for other activities.
These courts are available for hire between 7am–10pm, seven days a week.
- Court 1 - Synthetic surface, soccer goals, 33m x 32.3m
- Court 2 - Plexipave surface, basketball/soccer goals, 16.5m x 32.3m
- Court 3 - Plexipave surface, netball/soccer goals, 16.5m x 32.3m
When courts 2 and 3 are not booked, they are free to use between 7am to dusk, Monday to Friday.
Signs at the courts will display any scheduled bookings.
The multipurpose sports courts and broader East Caulfield Reserve also feature:
- electronic swipe card access, including lighting at specific times
- BBQ facilities between the courts and the pavilion
- public toilets south of the pavilion (close to Dudley Street)
- car parking off Sir John Monash Drive and Dudley Street (ticketing and/or time restrictions apply).

Court 2 and 3 —$25 per hours 7am to 6pm, $35 from 6pm to 10pm

Court 1 — $56.50 per hour from 7am to 6pm, $67 an hour from 6pm to 10pm
Court 2 and 3 — $46.50 per hour from 7am to 6pm, $56.50 from 6pm to 10pm
Caulfield Park: Multipurpose sports facility

This multipurpose sports facility has a synthetic surface and features:
- lighting
- retractable netting
- futsal goals
- lacrosse line markings.
The retractable netting allows for five cricket bays in the summer or a large multipurpose space (with goals) during the winter.
Caulfield Park multipurpose courts will be open and available for use by the community outside of sporting club allocations and casual bookings.

Koornang Park: Multipurpose facility

Park facilities
Basketball
If you love shooting hoops, we have plenty of basketball rings for you to use. Just turn up and play! There are basketball rings available at the following parks:
Lawn Bowls and Bocce
Packer Park features a free to use synthetic lawn bowls green and bocce rinks - subject to availability. Bring your own lawn bowls, or hire some.
Glen Eira is also home to many Lawns Bowls Clubs. These are located at many sites throughout the City.
Multipurpose hit-up walls
Several of our parks have free hit-up walls for honing your skills or just having fun, you can find these additions at:
- Booran Reserve
- Caulfield Park
- Joyce Park
- King George VI Memorial Reserve
- Packer Park
- Wattle Grove Reserve.
Netball
We have great netball facilities in Glen Eira, with a regional facility located at Duncan Mackinnon Reserve. This is the biggest netball facility within the City, with ten competition netball courts available for casual practice or exclusive hire.
