We generally install a light on every second power pole — around 100 metres apart — and we assess the need for additional lighting in accordance with our Street Lighting Policy (PDF, 67KB).
If warranted, we request the relevant power supplier to install additional lighting. VicRoads makes decisions on requests for lighting on arterial roads within Glen Eira.
You should report faults directly to either CitiPower on 13 12 80 or United Energy on 13 20 99. CitiPower is responsible for street light maintenance north of Balaclava Road, and United Energy is responsible south of Balaclava Road.
