What do our termite controls mean?
If you require a building permit to construct or extend a building, you must make sure that the design meets the requirements of Australian Standard AS 3660 Termite management.
If you're proposing to build a timber floor, you must comply with minimum clearances from ground level to the underside of the floor bearers. Designers also need to consider this requirement, as it also affects maximum wall heights.
