Bottle tops and caps can be reattached to clean bottles to be recycled. Loose bottle tops go in the red general waste bin.

Bottle tops are too small to be recycled on their own. Their small size means they fall through sorting machinery and are lost as waste.
Instead, reattach caps to their bottles and place them together in the yellow bin. Ensure that the bottles are clean and empty. Plastic bottles can also be crushed to save space.
