Children's toys in good condition can be donated to op shops, Our Village (formerly St Kilda Mums) or the Carnegie Toy Library.
Broken toys can be recycled at Big W stores through the Toys for Joy initiative.
Children's toys
Toys can't be recycled in the yellow bin. If you're unable to connect your toys with a reuse or recycling program, they can be disposed of in the red general waste bin.
Please note: Batteries don't belong in any household bin. Make sure to remove any batteries from toys before disposing of them. Batteries can be recycled at Glen Eira libraries and participating retailers.
