Kitchenware

Kitchen utensils in good condition can be donated to select op shops or to those in need through Donate Direct.

Kitchen utensils that are no longer suitable for reuse can be disposed of as part of a hard rubbish collection.

Glass kitchenware (e.g. drinking glasses, crystal, cookware and containers) cannot be recycled in the yellow recycling bin. These products melt differently than standard glass (jars & bottles). If glass kitchenware is no longer suitable for reuse, it can be disposed of as part of a hard rubbish collection or in the red general waste bin.
