Strong magnets and decorative or souvenir magnets can be donated to op shops for reuse.

Promotional magnets, such as calendars, typically aren't suitable for donation. Because magnets can't be recycled in the yellow bin, consider reusing or repurposing them for arts and crafts. 

Reuse tip: If you receive promotional magnets in the post, reach out to the sender and request that they not use magnets for advertising. If you run a business that uses promotional magnets, consider alternative forms of promotion.
