Waste Champions Program for shared bins
We know there’s plenty of Waste Champions in Glen Eira who are passionate about reducing waste, recycling and sustainability — and for those using shared bins there can be some added challenges to managing your household waste.
Through this program, we want to support you and your neighbours to reduce waste and recycle more! We also want to hear about your experiences and ideas so we can learn what else we can do to help people who use shared bins.
What's involved?
We’ll provide your residence with recycling and waste signs and large poster-sized bin stickers to help everyone know what goes in your red, yellow and green bins.
We’ll also check that you have enough bins and get any outdated bin lids replaced — no more bin colour confusion.
You may also be invited to participate in feedback surveys about your experience.
