Youth Events and Leadership Team
When: Weekly on Thursdays, 4pm–5.30pm (during the school term)
Where: Bentleigh Library and Youth Hub, 161 Jasper Road, Bentleigh
Who: Young people aged 15 up to 18 who live, work or study in Glen Eira
The Youth Events and Leadership Team (YELT) is a year-long program designed to provide young people with experience in event management and develop their leadership skills and training.
YELT meet weekly during the school term to design, develop and deliver youth events, including the Youth Art Exhibition and Youth Fest activities. They focus on teamwork, leadership and employability skills through innovative and creative programming that inspires new ideas and confidence in participants.
YELT is a year-long program, expressions of interest will open later this year for the 2025 intake.
Youth Art Exhibition 2024 — Dreams
Calling all young people aged 5–25 years old to submit their best artwork to be displayed in our Youth Art Exhibition, Dreams.
This annual event is hosted by Glen Eira Youth Services Youth Events and Leadership Team and will be held at the Glen Eira Town Hall Gallery.
The Youth Art Exhibition is dedicated to celebrating young people for their unique talents and their ability to interpret life through art. We are looking for a diverse range of artworks including 3D pieces or sculptures, digital artworks, paintings, drawing and photography.
