Drop-in program

When: Weekly on Monday and Wednesdays from 4pm to 5.30pm

Where: Bentleigh Library and Youth Hub, 161 Jasper Road, Bentleigh

Who: 10 to 17-year-olds who live, work or study in Glen Eira

Drop-in is a social program where young people take part in different activities, programs and events throughout the year. A new theme for the program is introduced each term and they vary throughout the year.

Drop-in is a safe space where young people can further build on their social skills through a diverse range of programs. These programs are designed to assist young people with furthering their connection to the area they work, live and study in.

Press Start

Press Start is a social gaming experience where you'll learn healthy gaming habits such as effective time management and teamwork whilst playing multi-player games. Not only do Press Start participants try a variety of PS4, Xbox, Steam, Nintendo Switch, and tabletop games each week, they also have a chance to share common interests and connect with other young people.

Hand Writer’s Tale

Hand Writers Tale is designed to launch creative ideas and worlds through storytelling. Participants will learn how to develop their spark and skillset to express their ideas and tales through using a pen and a creative mindset.

Green Thumb

If you have an interest in the environment and all things green join Green Thumbs. These sessions aim to raise awareness and introduce aspects of horticulture and environmental sustainability to young people through a range of engaging activities such as pot planting, recyclable art and guest speakers.

Youth Sports Society

If you are interested in making friends and keeping active, join Youth Sports Society. These sessions aim to increase participation in physical activity and provide a safe space for young people to explore and learn new sports.

The Hub Social

Have some downtime in between classes? Or just need somewhere to hang for the morning?

Hub Social is a weekly program that allows you to hang out and connect with other young people and Youth Workers while playing games and eating free food.

When: Every Friday during Uni (23 Feb–31 May) 10am–11am

Where: Caulfield East Reserve Pavillion

Who: Young People 18 to 25-year-olds

Cost: FREE
