Activities are open to young people aged 12 up to 18 years old with a connection to Glen Eira. Bookings open Monday 2 of September at 9am and close Friday 13 of September at 5pm.

Animals on the moove petting zoo

Tuesday 24 September

Love cute and cuddly farmyard animals? To kick start the first week of the holidays we will be hosting a petting zoo! Come down to feed and touch the animals in our fun and interactive environment. There will be plenty of animals for you to get close with including calves, lambs, goats, rabbits, Guinea pigs, ducks and more. Big or small our farmyard friends will bring a smile on your face, don’t miss out!

Time: 12pm to 2pm
Drop off/Pick up: Bentleigh Library and Youth Hub, 161 Jasper Road, Bentleigh
Cost: Free event open to the public


Dungeons & Dragons

Wednesday 25 September

Have a love for mythical worlds that have beasts, wizards, elves, orcs and more? Come down and meet our Dungeon Master as he takes you on an epic journey in which you uncover secrets, battle deadly foes, and find treasure. Dungeons and Dragons is a role-playing interactive tabletop game that will have you immersed in its story filled with monsters and intrigue. If you love board games and fantasy this one is for you. Adventure hinges on more than just a roll of a dice.

Time: 10am to 2pm
What to bring: water bottle, lunch, and snacks

Head out to Rush HQ

Thursday 26 September

Get energised with our youth workers as we head to Rush HQ this break. Rush HQ is Melbourne’s premier indoor adventure park. Get lost in the fun with activities such as huge multi-level obstacle course, high performance trampolines, rock climbing walls, jump and slam basketball lane and a ninja warrior course and more. Bring your energy and aim to reach new thrills these holidays.

Time: 10am to 2pm

No ifs, ands or putts

Tuesday 1 October

Join us as make our way around the green on a 36-hole mini golf course. Get familiar with your putt and test your judgement in this indoor and outdoor mini golf experience. Expert putter or just looking for a new hobby? Mini Golf welcomes all.

Time: 10am to 2pm

Glaze It studio

Wednesday 2 October

If you’re into ceramics and messy craft, this activity is for you! Get creative with your paint as we head down to Glaze It Elsternwick. Each person will get their own choice of unique ceramic and be able to provide an explosion of colour and artistic glow. Ceramic pieces include mugs and a variety of unique figures such as animals and more.

Time: 1.30pm to 4pm
What to bring: clothes that you are happy to paint with
Drop off/Pick up: Glen Eira Gallery Corner Glen Eira and Hawthorn Roads, Caulfield

In my bullseye era

With the Olympics finishing up, we thought we would introduce you to a unique Olympic event. Archery can be an excellent hobby and sport for many people. It requires skill, focus, and precision, making it a rewarding activity. Whether you’re a beginner or hit a bullseye before, come join in the fun these holidays.

Time: 1pm to 4.30pm
What to bring: water bottle, lunch, snacks, and hat
