Online resource marketplace for businesses

ASPIRE is an online marketplace that connects local businesses wanting to buy, sell or trade unwanted materials and products to reduce their waste disposal and earn money from unwanted goods at the same time.

It allows unlimited resource listings, helping you to recycle and reuse business materials that traditionally would be sent to landfill. A range of resources can be traded for reuse, recycling or disposal, including soil, plants, cardboard, textiles and plastic and glass bottles.

Glen Eira’s Circular Economy Co-ordinator Jennifer Shin says the platform is a great way for businesses to reduce their impact on the environment.

“ASPIRE supports businesses to eliminate waste being sent to landfill and provides them with a solution to work with other local businesses to reduce, reuse and recycle — circular economy style.”

“It’s a great cost and environment saving activity — businesses can generate additional income in the sale of unwanted resources, and they reduce the amount of waste they put in their bins each week. It’s a win, win!”

Jennifer encourages businesses to take advantage of the platform to make new connections and be part of the circular economy by keeping resources in circulation for longer.

We’ve partnered with ASPIRE to offer local businesses with fewer than 20 employees, a free membership, and a discounted membership for those with more than 20 employees.
