Cycling made safer — new cycling path complete

Cr Margarett Esakoff, Mayor Simone Zmood, Ryan Batchelor MLC, Deputy Mayor Luca Ragni and Cr Arabella Daniels who are joined by Council staff, local community members and Robert Bradshaw and Chris Yue from the Level Crossing Removal Project.

A new two-way three-metre-wide separated cycling lane along Queens Avenue, Caulfield East connecting Caulfield and Glen Huntly train stations is now complete.

Replanting vandalised trees

In late October nearly 200 young trees and shrubs were unlawfully cut down at eight parks and reserves across Glen Eira, including Caulfield Park, Boyd Park and Mallanbool Reserve.
