Your wellbeing matters
Staying physically and mentally healthy is more important than ever.
We are experiencing delays to our bundled branch collections (including the collection of Christmas trees) due to many bookings over the holiday period. If your scheduled collection has been impacted, please leave it on your nature strip and it will be collected as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any delays.

We’ve all been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in some form. That is why, it’s more important than ever to be kind, especially to those most at risk.
Glen Eira City Council has recently launched Be Kind Glen Eira — a campaign that focuses on spreading acts of kindness throughout the community during this challenging time.
Glen Eira Mayor Cr Margaret Esakoff said that Council has been so inspired by the acts of kindness happening throughout Glen Eira.
“Kindness at a time like this, touches many and we want to share these stories with our community through Glen Eira News and our social media pages,” she said.
“We have created the hashtag #BeKindGlenEira and encourage the community to show others how we can be kind to each other; be kind to ourselves; and be kind to local businesses.”
“This could be something as simple as reaching out to your loved ones, smiling and waving at your neighbours, supporting local businesses by ordering your favourite takeaway food or using social media to share the acts of kindness that are happening around us.”
“Glen Eira is a great community, let’s continue to band together, support each other and be kind.”
