Celebrate and honour an individual member of our community or a community group or organisation that makes you proud. Nominations for Citizen of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year and Community Group of the Year close on Friday 14 January.
The Citizen of the Year Awards provide the opportunity to recognise the commitment and contribution of people and community groups that help make a difference to our local community and who have demonstrated a significant impact on Glen Eira.
The Awards will be presented at Council’s annual Community Awards event in May, which will be held during National Volunteers Week.

Council’s grooviest outdoor event series returns this month. The first event in the popular Groove and Graze series will take place on Saturday 26 October at Halley Park, Jasper Road, Bentleigh.
