A new program of online entertainment and activities has been launched to support our community during lockdown.

Are you looking for an activity to keep yourself entertained during the current lockdown? Enjoy local tours from the comfort of your own home with Council’s free Glen Eira Walking Tours App.
Available from the App Store or Google Play, the App has something for everyone. Explore the rich artistic heritage of the remarkable Boyd family and its enduring connection with Murrumbeena. Be your own virtual tour guide with instant access to audio commentary and a range of historic images and artworks.
Take a tour of the creative artworks which have transformed 44 signal boxes in and around the municipality. As part of the tour, you can explore the artworks designed and painted by local artists and listen to their stories about the inspiration behind their art.
The App also includes a tour of Elsternwick and the Rosstown Rail Trail.
If you wish to participate in the tours while doing your socially distanced exercise, please do so within the current COVID-19 restrictions. Remember to stay within five kilometres from your home and if you are 12 years and over, please wear a wear a fitted face mask at all times.
