    Purchase of Land by Glen Eira City Council

    Section 112(3) of the Local Government Act 2020 (Vic) provides that any purchase or compulsory acquisition of land by a Council must be undertaken in accordance with the Council’s Community Engagement Policy.

    As such, this Public Notice serves to inform the Glen Eira community of a purchase of land that Glen Eira City Council has made as follows:

    Property: 19 Sandham Street, Elsternwick VIC 3185, but excluding any gaming machines, gaming licence or legal and/or financial obligation relating to gaming.

    Day of Sale: 17 June 2024

    Settlement date: 14 June 2027

    Purchase price: $14,750,000 plus GST

    Purpose: The purchase is for open space purposes.
