    Changes to the Regional Assessment Service

    As part of the Aged Care Reforms, the Australian Government has changed the way Home Support Assessments will be done from Monday 1 July 2024.

    Glen Eira City Council will no longer be funded to provide Home Support Assessments. They will now be done by a new assessment provider.

    Existing assessments will be transferred to the new assessment provider by My Aged Care. The new assessment provider will then contact people waiting for assessments.

    If you are on the waitlist for an Assessment, you do not have to do anything. There will be no change to your position on the Home Support Assessment waiting list and a new assessment provider will be allocated to you by My Aged Care.
