Skateboarding is a thrilling pastime with dedicated and passionate participants. In keeping with the evolution of the sport, our new skate park at Bailey Reserve officially opened in November 2018. This heavily utilised facility was designed in consultation with you.
Skate park
The skate park provides great challenges while also catering for skaters of all ages and abilities. Set in a modern space that reflects community needs, it includes new plantings, perimeter fencing, rest zones for viewers, a drink fountain and local lighting for night time skating.
The skating area itself includes:
- an open bowled area with hips
- a spine flowing onto a fun street section with banks
- ledges and rails
