Four piece pop-punk band Stand Out was crowned the winner of the 2019 Sounds of Glen Eira on Friday 28 June.

Council’s Anzac Day Service will be held on Sunday 24 April at 2pm at the Caulfield Park Cenotaph, corner Hawthorn and Balaclava Roads, Caulfield.
Glen Eira Mayor Cr Jim Magee said everybody in the community is welcome to attend.
“I encourage everybody in the community to take the opportunity to join us in remembering and paying tribute to those who have served our country, as well as those currently serving,” he said.
“Residents are also welcome to join Oakleigh-Carnegie RSL at their service on Monday 25 April at 6am, Caulfield RSL at their service at 7am and Bentleigh RSL at their service on Monday 25 April at 10am.”

Despite reported issues with SKM recycling facilities and major disruptions in the recycling industry, Council’s recycling service remains unaffected and recyclables from our waste services are not going to landfill.
