We are experiencing delays to our bundled branch collections (including the collection of Christmas trees) due to many bookings over the holiday period. If your scheduled collection has been impacted, please leave it on your nature strip and it will be collected as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and apologise for any delays.

Despite reported issues with SKM recycling facilities and major disruptions in the recycling industry, Council’s recycling service remains unaffected and recyclables from our waste services are not going to landfill.
Council’s recyclables are sorted, processed and recycled by Polytrade in Dandenong South.
Glen Eira Mayor Cr Jamie Hyams encouraged residents to keep recycling as normal.
“We have a great record when it comes to recycling and residents can have confidence that our recycling is being processed and recycled,” he said.
“It is important that we all continue to separate recyclables from non-recyclable materials and place them in the correct bin so that Polytrade can continue to provide us with this service.”
