Nominations are now open for Glen Eira City Council’s 2022 Volunteer Recognition Program.
This is your opportunity to say thank you and acknowledge the important contribution our volunteers make to the health and wellbeing of our local community.
We need your help to celebrate and recognise our volunteers. If you are a not-for-profit community-based organisation you are invited to nominate volunteers in one of the seven following categories: 500, 1,000 or 2,000 hours of service or 10, 20, 30 or 40 years of continuous voluntary service.
Award recipients will be announced at an event during National Volunteer Week (16 to 22 May). Guidelines and the application form can be found on our Volunteer Recognition Program page.
Nominations close Friday 11 March. For further information, contact Council’s Service Centre on 9524 3333, email communityawards@gleneira.vic.gov.au or visit our Volunteer Recognition Program page.

Despite reported issues with SKM recycling facilities and major disruptions in the recycling industry, Council’s recycling service remains unaffected and recyclables from our waste services are not going to landfill.
